Prindiville Hummer
The auto world is full of strange contraptions, some of which would have been better off left in the designer's head. For example, EVs and Hummer, which should never be combined, came together in one very strange little toy.
Prindiville is a British company, who started out making body kits for Lamborghinis and Ferraris. But last year, they decided to do something a little different and made the Electric Hummer, heralded as the UK's first customized EV.
As you might have guessed already, it's got more in common with Gordon Murrie than the actual Hummer used by US army.
Stylistically, the car is based on the H2 hummer, but it' the size of a golf cart. It features a maximum range of around 60 miles (just short of 100 km), but it can be a lot less in the real world.
Because it's such a cute little think, we thought it'd be interesting to show you one that's for sale. The company itself is offering this example for £ 15,000 (approx. € 17,676) on Jameslist.
"The Prindiville Electric Hummer is an officially licensed product of General Motors. Designed and built to traditional specification, with the original Hummer signature features. The Prindiville Hummer is a world first, as it is powered entirely by electricity. Ideal for eco-friendly urban and suburban driving. With free road tax, low insurance, free parking and no congestion charge fees in London, the Prindiville Hummer makes fantastic financial sense," the listing says.
To get an idea of the car's proportions, we've included a video shot last year by FgearTV.
